Join us along with Together Colorado, Colorado Jewish Climate Action (CJCA) and Rocky Mountain Synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America for this Multi-faith lobby day.
In-person lobbying is a powerful way to advocate for the legislation that will help create a Colorado where everyone can thrive—regardless of race, zip code, or income. Our lawmakers need to hear directly from us about why these issues matter.
On Lobby Day, we’ll organize by district and spend the morning meeting with legislators to make our voices heard. This is a key opportunity to ensure they understand the real impact of these bills on our communities. Everyone is welcome! Spanish interpretation and lunch will be provided.

Advocate for change, with your legislators, meet like-minded activists, learn about lobbying, and make a difference in the fight against climate chaos. Join us on Thursday March 7th along with @350colorado and many other front line orgs for 10th annual Climate Lobby Day!
Last year, over 60 Colorado based climate organizations with over 180 participants join in Climate Lobby Day. This year we want to make it even bigger, better, and more accessible to all of those that would like to participate! This event provides a space for participants to learn the lobbying basics, meet other constituents from their district, and encourages them to apply those skills at the Capitol advocating for pro climate bills they believe in.
Whether you’re lobbying for the first time or have joined in the past, you’ll have the opportunity to learn the ropes and have lots of support with friends and allies. See also How to Lobby 101 Training from 350CO.

Join climate activists from across the state for our 9th annual Climate Lobby Day, co-hosted by 350CO and multiple other Colorado organizations! Whether you’re lobbying for the first time or are a seasoned volunteer lobbyist, you’ll have the opportunity to learn the ropes with friends and allies. No experience is required to advocate for the planet.
- Virtual Climate Lobby Day trainings Feb. 5th and Feb. 19th
- A last-minute day-of training will occur the morning of Climate Lobby Day
- Climate Lobby Day 2024 is Friday, March 1, 8am-2pm
- Meet with legislators to advocate for climate-friendly bills
- Meet activists and organizers from lots of great groups across Colorado! (Climate action is more fun with friends 🙂
We’ll hold a final crash course lobby training at the First Baptist Church of Denver 1373 Grant Street, Denver, CO and provide an overview of bills from 8-9:30am, before heading over to the Capitol (9:30-noon or so). There, you will have the opportunity to speak with Colorado lawmakers, urging them to pass legislation to reduce emissions and promote solutions to the climate crisis.

From Together Colorado: Please join us for Faith Climate Lobby Day at the Colorado State Capitol in Denver this year on Friday, February 16th. Last year we were more than 70 strong. We would love to exceed that this year. Together Colorado will have training on zoom on the evening of February 15th at 5pm with those who have signed up.
Also, some Colorado School districts are off school this day, so we are encouraged to consider inviting youth and young people from your congregation to join in the event.

All are invited to join GreenFaith and other 350 Colorado allies for the “State of the Climate” Rally Thursday, Jan. 11th, 12-1pm on the East Lawn of the State Capitol after Gov. Polis’ State of the State address kicking off the 2024 Colorado Legislative Session. Our own Pete Terpenning, Pastor Emeritus of Boulder’s Community United Church of Christ will offer a faith-based reflection and call to action at the rally.

Click here to send a message to your legislators today asking them to sign this open lettersupporting a phase out of permitting for oil and gas wells by 2030 and a just transition to a clean renewable energy future and to speak out against more fracking permits in our local communities NOW.
- Immediately after the rally, Thursday at 1 pm, the group will hand deliver a petitionto Governor Polis’ office asking him to reject the inadequate new rules that the AQCC passed for reducing emissions from manufacturing. If you haven’t signed it yet, you can sign the petition here.
